He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gerger (Heckel) of Defiance; his sons, Scott Gerger of Florida and Christopher Gerger of Florida; his stepchildren, Adam Brooks (Amanda) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Rachael Brooks (Derrick) of Toledo and Joshua Brooks of Defiance; his grandchildren, Ella, Natalie, Laura, Cecilia, Simon, Charles, Marshall and Theodore; and his adoptive son Steve Gebhart.
