He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Retcher and Lorena Retcher (Hahn); and his siblings, Robert, George, Linda, Judith, Sharon and Karen.

He is survived by: his brothers, Jerold (Donna) and Michael (Susan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
