She was predeceased by: her parents, Lenuce Coleman and Nawassa Coleman (Stephens); her husband Everett D. Metcalf, Jr.; and her siblings, Tom and Nanette.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Handy (Ron) of Defiance and Everett D. Metcalf, III (Michelle) of New Iberia, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Zachariah Handy (Rachel), Ashley Wheeler (Justin), Seth Handy (Jordan), Gunner Ames (Andraya Casper), Logan Handy and Jared Jordan (Hannah); and her siblings, Margaret Scercy (Ann) and Robert McCaskill. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
