He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Eberle and Fredia Eberle (Huber); and his siblings, Ethel Dietrick, Madeline Gilliland, Don, Bob, Arthur, James, Nelson and Darrell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Leffel (Mike) of Bryan, OH, Joani Smith (Stuart) of Jackson, MI and Susan Shindledecker (Tad) of Stryker, OH; and his sister Juanita Schnitkey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaffer Funeral Home (529 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (655 Wayne Ave, Defiance, OH 43512).
