He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Andrist and Norma Andrist (Viebauch); his son Chad Andrist; and his siblings, James Andrist and JoAnn West.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi (Scheirer); and his children, Kelly Dockery (Terry) of Continental, Shelly Gares (Tim) of Defiance, Shelby "Omar" Wilson of Seville, Jeff Andrist (Roni) of Archbold, Matt Andrist (Lisa) of Defiance and Josh Busch (Jennifer) of Defiance. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
