It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Behnfeldt of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on June 25, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Bolen and Myrtle Bolen (Hart); her husband Marvin Behnfeldt; and her brothers, Jimmy Bolen, Johnny Bolen and Bobby Bolen.

She is survived by: her son Lyndel Carpenter (Ruby); her grandchildren, Amanda Harner (David) and Andrew Huff; her great grandchild Aiden Harner; and her siblings, William McHone (Donna), Richard McHone, Cheryl McHone and Pamela Johnson (Steven).

Memorial contributions may be made to Henry County Relay for Life.
