She was predeceased by: her son Jaycee Michael Sowers; and her grandmother Linda Sowers. She is survived by: her parents, Todd Sowers of Defiance and Michelle Peggs (Hinkle) of Sherwood; her daughter Ava Marie Sowers of Defiance; her brothers, Luke Kammeyer (Rebekah) of Archbold and David Peggs (Terra) of Montpelier; and her grandparents, Mike Hinkle Sr. (Lisa) of Continental, Glenda Hinkle (Kevin Koithan) of Sherwood and Paul Sowers (Cody Roth) of Defiance. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses, and for the care of Ava Marie.
