He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel O. Carson and Helen W. Carson; and his wife Judy Anne Carson (Leatherman). He is survived by: his sons, Toby J. Carson (Karyn) of Oak Grove, Jared S. Carson (Kimberly) of Greenville and Jacob T. Carson of Palm Bay, Florida; his granddaughter Reagan E. Carson of Greenville; and his brothers, Samuel O. Carson, Jr. (Nancy) of Melbourne and Thomas L. Carson of Salisbury.
