It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Goedde of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James W. Goedde to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Goedde and Alta Goedde (Geren). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Goedde of Defiance; his daughter Kristine M. Walters (Jason) of Defiance; and his grandson Timothy Walters (Morghin) of Defiance.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting for donations in "Goedde's" memory directed to CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center, St. Mary Catholic Church, or Independence United Methodist Church.
