He is survived by: his brother Tom Gruber of La Jolla, CA; his children, Matt (Mari) of Glendale, CA, Mark and Amy Gruber Kieffer (John) of Greensboro, NC.; and his grandsons, William, Benjamin Kieffer of Greensboro, NC and Nathan Gruber Ft (Seon Kim).
