It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith E. Lantz of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith E. Lantz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin "Len" Reynolds and Hattie Reynolds (Spencer); her siblings, Mildred Ransom and Arthur Theodore Reynolds; and her husbands, Coolidge Phillips, Herbert Hoover and Alvin Lantz.
She is survived by: her children, David Phillips (Tami) of Defiance, Stephen Phillips (Ronda) of Camden and Susan Amore of Defiance; and her grandchildren, Jason Phillips (Katrina) of Defiance, Heather Stiriz (Doug) of Wauseon, Elessa Arnett (Brent) of Defiance, Erin Phillips of Defiance and Elizabeth Phillips of Defiance. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Defiance County Senior Center.
