He was predeceased by: his father Robert Layne; and his niece Alicia Layne. He is survived by: his mother Rita Layne (Crumrine) of Defiance; his wife Nancy Pratt of Defiance; his children, Brad Layne (Emily) of Marysville, OH, Sara Seuberling (Nick) of Perrysburg, OH and Kyle Layne (Nicole) of Huntington, IN; his grandchildren, Jacob Layne, Alyson Seuberling, Benjamin Seuberling, Morgan Layne, Connor Layne, Owen Layne, Zachary Layne, Christian Layne, Alexander Layne and Stella Layne; and his siblings, Tom Layne (Linda) of Defiance, Roger Layne (Dawn) of Oklahoma, Dave Layne of Defiance, Steve Layne (Erin) of Defiance and Sandy McGill (Ken) of Westerville, OH.. He is also survived by his family and many good friends.
