She was predeceased by: her parents, Apolinar Santos and Zeniada Santos (Pena); her husband Deacon Ignacio Contreras Sr.; and her children, Ignacio Contreras, Jr., Roberto Contreras and Sylvia Cooke.

She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Hilton (Stanley) of Worcester, Massachusetts. and Emma Davis (William) of Worcester, Massachusetts.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Foundation.
