With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David W. Daugherty of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Greg Sims; and his grandparents, James B., Ethel Mae Kaufman of Bryan, Wallace and Dorothy Force of Wabash, Indiana..
He is survived by: his parents, William L. Daugherty and Deborah Daugherty (Kaufman); his sister Annie Sims; and his nieces, Alexa and Jenna Sims of Bryan. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Since he was so passionate about animals and their care, memorials are requested to Defiance or Williams County Humane Society.
