It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clinton Throne of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Throne and Florence Throne (Gearhart); his wife Doris Throne; his sister Joyce Herr; and his half-brother Woodrow Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy McCartney (Chuck) of Defiance, Bill Throne (Jayne) of Napoleon and Pam Schaufele (Fred) of Evansport; his grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Amy, Stacy, Michael, Raechel, Heather and Nick; his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Logan, Madison, Garrett, Heidi, Ethan, Clayton, Faith, Whitney, Lillie, Carter and Conner; his niece Jacki Wells; and his sister-in-law Wilma Limber. He is also survived by his family and many good friends.
Memorials are suggested to CHP Defiance Hospice Center, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Evansport Fire Department.
