She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Backues and Sally Backues. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Carr (John) of Holgate and Shawn Torno (Alena) of Pasadena, CA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

Memorial contributions can be given to the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870.
