She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Olmstead and Nina Olmstead (Bell); her husband Don; her siblings, Arlene Onweller, Katherine Olmstead, Phyllis Onweller and Kenneth Olmstead; and her brothers-in-law, Loren Onweller, James Onweller, Wayne Johnston and Larry Helberg.
She is survived by: her son Dean Smith (Lisa) of Ridgeville Corners; her grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Chelsi) and Rebecca Smith; her siblings, Paulene Johnston, Carl Olmstead (Jane), Elizabeth Neuenschwander and Twila Helberg; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Olmstead.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. John Christian Church in Archbold or the Ridgeville Fire Department.
