With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta E. Smith of Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fouts and Esther Fouts (Miller) of Napoleon; her siblings, JoAnn Fouts and Jim Fouts; and her children, David Ziegler and Deb Kauser.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Wilson (Shane) of Defiance and Keith Ziegler (Sharon) of Houston; her sisters, Barbara Nye (Eldon) of Napoleon, Judy Korak (John) of McClure and Marilyn Denny of Cottonwood, AZ; and her pets, Brutus and Kennedy. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
