It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Jefferson Sawyers of Dalton, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bowen Sawyers and Elizabeth Sawyers. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sawyers; his children, Sean Sawyers of Canton, Kellie VanZant (Doug) of Canton, David Sawyers (Elizabeth) of Dalton, Tammie Meek (Matt) of Canton and Samantha Kehner (Jeff) of Massillon; and his siblings, John Sawyers (Bonnie), Debra Durham and Kathy Dalsky (John). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
