He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan S. Hershberger and Amanda J. Hershberger (Miller); his brother Wayne Hershberger; and his brothers-in-law, David Mast and Melvin Erb.
He is survived by: his children, Rosy Meinke (Steve) of Sugarcreek, Leah Miller (Wes) of Pryor, OK, Jeannie Schlabach (Ken) of Sugarcreek and Galen Edwin Young (Andrea) of Linden, TN; his former wife Mary Ann Hershberger of Sugarcreek; his grandchildren, Brandon Meinke (Shelly), Cassie, Mariah Meinke, Courtney, Blake, Brooke Miller, Autumn Burkholder (Eddie), Colby, Grady Schlabach, Kadence and Kennedy Young; his great grandchildren, Leo and Nash Meinke; his siblings, Susan Hochstetler (Daniel) of Dalton, Ada Swartzentruber (David) of Millersburg, Edna Mast of Millersburg, Anne Chupp (Noah) of Sugarcreek, Atlee Hershberger (Jill) of Millersburg, Ella Kay Hendrix (Kenny) of Apple Creek, Nancy Troyer (Ray) of Millersburg, Ruby Troyer (Vernon) of Dundee and Cindy Iams (John) of Berlin; and his sister-in-law Emma Troyer of Sugarcreek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
