She was predeceased by: her parents, Creed Dennis Ashby Sr. and Blanch Lila Ashby (Phillips); her stepmother Opal "Muriel" Ashby; her husband Richard "Dick" Burdick; her great grandchild Alex Kohlman; her sons-in-law, William "Bill" Herb, Dale Crandall and Michael Jackson; and her siblings, Creed Ashby, Jr. and Eston Ashby.
She is survived by: her children, Avon, Linda Wires (Robert), Mary Jane Crandall, Duane Burdick (Cheryl Brunell), Nancy Herb and Patricia Jackson.
