We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2024, at the age of 88, George N. Hlifka of Conneaut, Ohio, born in Erie, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Hlifka and Anna Polk Hlifka; his wife Dorothy C. Hlifka; his daughter Mary Hlifka Seipel; and his siblings, Frank Hlifka and Delores Weiss.
He is survived by: his sons, George Hlifka (Cathy) of Leroy Township, OH, James Hlifka (Lea) of Chardon, OH and John Hlifka (Veronica) of Fort Mill, SC; his son-in-law Kelly Seipel of Dublin, OH; his daughters, Dolly Sherman (Mike) of Conneaut and Cathy Schwartz (Bryan) of Sunbury, OH; his grandchildren, Tom Spencer Jr. (Courtney), Jeff Spencer (Kelsey), Sheila Sherman, Jessie Schwartz, Garrett Schwartz, Brady Schwartz, Bethany Fitzgerald, JP Hlifka, Sydney Johnson (Nate), Jorja Hlifka, Jacob Hlifka, Joseph Seipel, Nick Seipel, Robert Seipel and Jonathan Hlifka; and his great grandchildren, George, Emma-Grace Spencer, Colden, Carson Spencer, Charlotte, Maddox, Wyatt, Liliana Butler and Evalyn Johnson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Parish and Hospice of Western Reserve.
