He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Maria Dougherty and Ike New of Columbus, Ohio.; his wife Dianna L. New; his stepfather Bob Dougherty; and his grandsons, Bryan Moore and Mason Wylie.
He is survived by: his brother Frank New; and his children, Bryan New (Davatte), James "Jimmy" New, Tonya Randazzio (Vince), Cobra Carrell (Pete), Enos New (Tabitha), Jennifer Wylie (Greg), Brian Carrell (Gerri), Shawn Carrell (Vikki) and Trampis New (Brenda). He is also survived by 31 grandkids and 69 great-grandkids; many nieces and nephews.
