She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivory Lee Franklin and Betty Doris Hull; her siblings, Tony Franklin, Reta Collins (John Sr.) and Cynthia Simpson; and her brother-in-law Wilson Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Harley Stewart I; her children, Michele Anderson (Shawn), Harley Stewart II (Monica) and Ivan Stewart I (Yolanda); her grandchildren, Tiffany Overton, David Stewart, Paul Baldwin Jr., Ashley Stewart, Haley Stewart, Mirissa Stewart, Brittany Dohman (Anthony), Courtney Stewart, Ivan Stewart II, Sydney Stewart and Isaiah Stewart; her great grandchildren, Christian Rogers, Michael Sellers Jr., Luke Miller, Zayden Morris and Sanai Dohman; her uncle Peter James Johnson; her siblings, Marcia Robinson (Eddie), Berdina Payne, Opal Franklin, Kay Franklin-Williams, Jackie Franklin, William Hurt Jr., Lee Franklin, Roy Franklin and Michael Franklin; and her siblings-in-law, Janice Walker, Barry Stewart (Janice) and Darrell Stewart.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Memorial Baptist Church (3330 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43227). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Glen Rest Memorial (8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068).
A TIME TO PASS AWAYAfter battling Parkinson's Disease and Dementia here on earth, on Friday, October 25, 2024, Iva took her last breath, transitioning from her earthly to her long-awaited home on high with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
