She is survived by: her children, Elsbeth Riess-Buckland (Robert) and Michael Riess; her stepson Adan Cossin; her grandchildren, Steven Cossin and Stephanie Cossin; and her siblings, Elsbeth Giewat Schmidt and Dieter Giewat (Diane). She is also survived by 10 nieces and 2 nephews.
