He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sr. Schultz and Hester Schultz (Dotson); and his brother Roy Lee Mayes. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Schultz (Sexton); his stepson Roscoe Mayes (Brandy); his grandchildren, Keagan and Matthias Mayes; his siblings, Jeanie Schaefer and Johnny Schultz (Ella); and his close friend Sugar. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
