It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie L Pitney Jr. (Columbus Grove, Ohio), born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jimmie L. Pitney Sr.; and his grandparents, Howard, Marguerite Pitney, Donald and Wilma Hall.
He is survived by: his mother Lila J. Pitney (Hall); his pet Cedar; his children, Brady Pitney (Karen) of Boston, MA, Brice (Briley Kyser) and Abigail Pitney (Matt Evans) of Lima, OH; his grandchildren, Cole Pitney of Boston, MA, Amiah Evans and Cyra Evans of Lima, OH; and his sisters, Lisa Follas (Jay), Lori Brubaker (Bob) and Melanie Roethlisberger (Chris). He is also survived by five nephews, four nieces, and Sheri Pitney the mother of his three children with whom he remained friends.
