He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret (Maggie); his parents, Sam Schroeder and Romana Schroeder; and his siblings, Omer (Kathy Manlik), David (Elaine Vorst), Irvin (Sharon Bendele), Mary (Bill Koch), Anita (Virgil Verhoff), Sister Marjorie Schroeder and Anna Maria Schroeder.
He is survived by: his sons, Duane Schroeder (Nancy Niese), Lee Schroeder (Jenny Morman) and Neal Schroeder (Patricia Bonello); and his brother Sam (Anne Fenbert). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
