He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Butch Powell; his parents, Emlin Leroy and Helen Grace Davis; and his brother William F. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Sandra Powell of North Ridgeville and James Emlin "Buck" Davis (Nina) of Columbia Station; his grandchildren, Shari Helwig (Fred), Amanda Ritchie (Greg), Chad Powell (Lisa), Hillary LaMarca (Dave) and Heather Reidl (Steve); his great grandchildren, Devin, Tyler, Ashlee, Jared, Violet, Lilly, Daisy and Gwen; his sisters, Ruth Muntz (Joe) and Lois Lonaker; and his sister-in-law Ester Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
