He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Caplinger; his children, Jill Hede (Doug), Robert Caplinger (Alisha), John Caplinger, Bonnie Hollmeyer (Louie) and Joy Boland (John); and his grandchildren, Andrea, Brian, Alyssa, Kyle, Emily, Owen, John David, Alexi, Lauren, Maxwell, Abigail and Gabriella. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
