It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Albers (Coldwater, Ohio), born in Minster, Ohio, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloys Bertke and Clara Belle Bertke (Gudorf); her siblings, Norman Bertke and Velma Wenning (Bertke); and her in-laws, Thelma Bertke, Kathleen Bertke, Joan Wenning, Cletus Albers (Irene), Urban Albers (Violet), Rosemary Menker (Norman), Jeanette Weaver (Robert) and Roger Schmitmeyer.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Albers; her children, David (Lisa), Karen Wenning Coldwater (Chuck), Beth Sheeley Indianapolis (Dave), Maria Schwieterman (Tom) and Brian of Portland, IN.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Albers Smith, Valerie Albers, Aundrea Albers Graver, Alison Wenning Fleming, Andrew Wenning, Hallie Wenning DiAntonio, Robert, William, Katherine Schwieterman, Megan, Benjamin and Grace Sheeley; her great grandchildren, Bennett, Wesley, Harrison, Owen, Phillipa, Hugh, Audrey and Caroline; and her siblings-in-law, Mark Wenning and Mary Ann Schmitmeyer.
