He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Kidd and Mable Kidd (Nickell); and his siblings, Bernice Carson, Jay Kidd and Charles Kidd.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kidd (Smith); his children, Terry Kidd of Fort Wayne, IN, Danny Kidd (Angela) of Clyde, OH, Geoffrey Kidd of Clyde, OH and Shonda Cook (Jack) of Clyde, OH; his grandchildren, Daniel, Asheley, Madelynn, Molly, John, Norman, Alexis, Tristyn, Averi, Kailyn, Bradie, Jackson and Carter; his siblings, Wendall Kidd (Shirley) of Georgetown, KY, Wilda Dennis of Bellevue and Janet King of Campton, KY; and his sister-in-law Patricia Kidd of Middletown, OH.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in James' honor to Little Bethlehem United Baptist Church.
