Flora Kirsteatter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Kirsteatter of Clyde, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hall and Lula Hall (Hatfield); her former husband Eugene Newsom; her husband Leo Lish of Inkom; her former husband Fred Kirsteatter of Arizona; her daughters, Peggy Newsom and Paula Ann Newsom; and her siblings, Walter Hall, Jr., James Hall, Stallard Hall, Carl Hall, Frank Hall, Lafe Hall, John Hall, Eula Lish and Virgie McKenny.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Newsom (Vicki) of Clyde, David Newsom (Debra) of Clyde and Pamela Blankenship (Lester) of Kentucky; her stepdaughter Kathy Teufel (Jerry) of New Mexico; her grandchildren, Charity Castle (Jerry) of Clyde, Adam Newsom (Christine) of Clyde, Sepp Newsom (Lacey) of Clyde, Wesley Newsom of Clyde, Heather McIntosh (Eric) and Brad Blankenship (Thelma) of Kentucky; her stepgrandson Dallas Teufel of New Mexico; her great grandchildren, Emma Castle, Chase Castle, Aisley Newsom, Sepp Jr. Newsom of Clyde, Cody Blankenship (Paige Jamison), Payton Roark (Emili), Lester Doyle and Joshua Doyle of Kentucky; her great great grandchild Mahala Blankenship of Kentucky; and her sister-in-law Diane Hall of Pocatello. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home (218 S Main St, Clyde, OH 43410). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
