He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Bowen and Polly Ettie Wegman Bowen; his son Gary Lee Bowen; his grandson John Cristopher Bowen; his siblings, Georgie, Junior, Rosie (Rose), Stella (Ted), Bessie, Viola (Toots), Clinton, Ada (Jean), Mertie (Opal), Olive and Madeline; and his former spouse Jean.
He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Bowen; his grandchildren, Holly Bowen, Amber Koszewski (Steven), Eric Bowen and Kevin Bowen (Tiffany); his great grandchildren, Kaden, Karsyn Bowen and Kellin Teaford (Nicholas); his great great grandchildren, Rosalie and Reyna; and his spouse Starlight. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, neighbors, friends and family.
