Auyaty Miya Gordon Obituary

Auyaty “Yaty” Warren Gordon was born on August 10th, 1980 to Ellen Warren of Cleveland, OH and Will Warren of Washington, DC. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Ruth and Henry. She leaves behind 3 sisters, Tamika, TK, Teuko, and her brothers Toirrey and Torrance. Yati was born at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield, Ohio.
She joined Grace Baptist Church in the mid-1990s. On December 26, 1997, Yati welcomed her daughter Leah and later her granddaughters Zai and Zari. She graduated from JFK and received her Master’s at John Carrol University.
Yatii started her career in hair dressing , where she spent many fulfilling years, and continually advanced her education. She was excited with her new chapter of moving to Florida because she HATED the snow.
Yatii’s passions were cooking, gardening, and of course movies. She loved being around her family and her dogs. She loved entertaining and truly never met a stranger. She loved to smile, and always had something funny to say. Yati was a kind and caring person, loving all Gods creations.
Above all else, Yatii loved her family deeply and unconditionally. Being a grandmother brought her the absolute most joy. Auyati was loved by several uncles, aunts, siblings, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Though Auyaty has departed this earthly realm, their legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate our lives in the darkest of hours. May their spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grace Baptist (3742 east 131st street, Cleveland, ohio).
