He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bell (Reese) and Walter James Foster; his wife Verdell Foster (Poe); and his siblings, Emma Lou Ford, William, Willie, Walter and Roy.
He is survived by: his uncle Henry; his siblings-in-law, Lawrence, Carrie Poe and Ernestine Poe; his daughter Kimme; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Sanders, Doris Ogletree, Glenda Mae Burkes and Jesse James Foster (Glenda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
