He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline M. Rodenberg (Dressman); his sibling Shirley M. Rodenberg; and his parents, William Rodenberg and Viola Rodenberg (Schafer). He is survived by: his children, Kimberly J. Kanter (Gary), Kevin J. Rodenberg (Carol), Karen J. Nanney (Curtis) and Kylle J. Witter (Mike Mercer); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Bartz (Steve), Jessica M. Mueller (Dan), Natalie N. Rodenberg (Jon Waintroob), Amanda J. Abrams (Chris) and Eric J. Kanter (Grace); and his great grandchildren, Annika, Lilly, Brycen, Easton, Fritz, Annelise, Hayden, Conrad, Olivia and James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Children's Hospital Medical Center or the American Heart Association.
