He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Owens and Patsy Owens (Johnson); his wife Bernadine McDonald; his son Michael Owens; his son-in-law Rodger Fisher; his granddaughter Missy Simkins; and his siblings, Myrtle Arms (Jim), Eva Owens, Ethel Ratcliff (Marlin), Florence Davis (James), Emogene Middleton (James), Winifred Helton (David), Jeff Owens and Scotty Owens (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Fisher, Denise Entingh (Larry) and Christopher Owens; and his sister Avonell Allison. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
