She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert E. Woodruff and Hazel Winks Woodruff; and her brother Ronald Woodruff. She is survived by: her husband James R. Skinner; her children, James R. Skinner Jr. (Teresa), Robin M. Young and Candi L. Barnes (Russell); her grandchildren, Zachary D. Martin (Riann), James R. Skinner III (Heather), George W. Smith IV (Marie), Emily S. Mosley (Brian), Taylor K. Young, Jackson S. Barnes and Mitchell R. Barnes; her great grandchildren, Brenn R. Martin, Meredith R. Smith, Henry B. Smith, Kendall R. Martin and Christina S. Mosley; and her siblings, Larry E. Woodruff (Annie) and Pamela McGarvey.
