Shannon Anthony Seyfang, 48 of Chillicothe, Ohio, went to be by his father and sibling’s sides in heaven on March 2nd, 2022. During his passing at home, he was surrounded by family and his dearest friends, following a brief and brave battle with cancer.
He was born April 14th, 1973 in Chillicothe, to Brenda (Hardman) Richard, who survives and the late John David Seyfang, Sr.

Lastly, his father-in-law, Randall Quesinberry.
In addition to his mother, Shannon is survived by his loving partner of 20 years, Brandy Quesinberry, of who he spoke his last words of “I love you” to, as she and his mother held his hands. Survivors also include his step father Jonathan Richard, uncle Gene (Treva) Hardman, aunt Linda (Don) Davis, mother-in-law Lorna Smith, brothers-in-law Brooks Quesinberry and Cheyenne (Christyan) Sullivan, nieces Courtney Gibbs, Madison Seyfang, Sarah Seyfang and Addalyn Quesinberry, nephews Cohl Seyfang, Shane Seyfang, Dylan Quesinberry, Rylan Quesinberry and Brenton Quesinberry. He is also survived by numerous cousins who he loved dearly, as well as his very best friends, Paul and Jenni Viney and Patrick Maxwell, who were also by his side as he left us to enter heaven.
Shannon was a journeyman electrician and fire alarm installer with Denier Electric. He took great pride in his work and his role as a mentor, to his apprentices. His friendships to his fellow colleagues meant the world to him, which were more like family above anything else. In his final days, many of his brothers from Denier, were sure to reach out and offer their love and support.
Anyone that knew Shannon, will certainly hold dear his animated gift of story telling, his quick wit, his indistinguishable laugh and his deep catalog of “dad jokes”. Above all, everyone will remember his kind heart and the love he unconditionally had for everyone in his life. He truly without judgement, would give to anyone in need of material or emotional support.
He loved the great outdoors. He was an avid kayaker and white water rafter for many years. He spent many nights around the fire with one of his best friends, Ed Mercer, recounting the trips from the day prior. He also loved target shooting with his mom and step dad and snuggling with his “fur babies”, Titus and Marley, while watching his favorite Marvel movie or reading a beloved fantasy novel.
His absence has left a deep hole in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. God does give us hope in Jesus, that we will see each other again. We are comforted to know he is in paradise with his family that he ached to see on earth.
As per Shannon’s wishes, a viewing will not take place. A memorial service will be conducted by Ware Funeral home in Chillicothe, Ohio at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday March, 12th, 2022. An inurnment, will follow in Grandview Cemetery’s, columbarium. His dear friend, Pastor Shane Browning, will preside over his services.
