She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Marie Smith (Evans); her husband Wade V. Garrett; and her siblings, Lillian Barnhart, Mary Smith, William Smith and Robert Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Routte (Dennis Jackson) of Chillicothe, Michael Garrett (Brenda) of Waverly and Keith Garrett (Terri) of Stoutsville; her grandchildren, Nichole Routte (Clint Johnson) of Chillicothe, Cody Routte of Chillicothe, Dustin Routte of Chillicothe, Megan Horn (Trent) of Pleasantville, OH, Morgan Garrett of Lancaster, OH and Mallory Garrett (Alec Davis) of Stoutsville, OH; her great grandchildren, Chelsea Johnson (James Miller), Kali Routte, Brooklynn Routte, Braxton Routte, Oliver Horn and Ella Horn; and her friend Sam.
