He is survived by: his parents, Karen Murphy and Don Richmond; his grandfather Daniel Murphy; his aunt Robin Rippeth (Eric); and his cousins, Halle and Ezra Rippeth. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any volunteer Fire Department of the donor's choice in his honor.
