He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gloria Winfield (John), Diana Joyner, Patricia Smith, James Beard, Jr. (Gail), Keith Beard, Sr. and Timmy Beard; and his mother-in-law Goldie Ragland (Tanner).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Beard (Ragland); his son Jeffery Todd Beard (Nora Speakman); his grandchildren, Shyler Poling, Makenna, Kamilla Beard and Jessica Poling; his siblings, George Beard (Helen), Lonnie Beard, Sr. (Delores), Patrick Beard, Sr. (Terry), Danny Beard, Sr., Joyce Harden and Linda Beard; his sisters-in-law, Wendy Beard and Christina Beard; and his close friends, Chancey, Dorthy Valentine, John and Barbara Leech. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
The family requests that those in attendance wear masks or facial coverings for everyone's protection.
