He is survived by: his children, Melinda Evans of Chillicothe, Janet Colburn (Jerry) of Chillicothe, Edward E. Bethel, Sr. of Chillicothe, Earl Bethel, Jr. of Chillicothe, Jamie L. Bethel of Chillicothe, Debra J. Bethel of Chillicothe, Susan White (Richard) and McArthur; and his brother Walter A. Bethel. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
