He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Collins and Homer Collins; his siblings, Esther Rawlins (Harry Rawlins), Mary Martha DePugh (John DePugh), Harold Collins, Wayne Collins (Bertha Collins) and Eileen Ramona Collins; and his nephew Michael Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ella Richardson Collins; his daughters, Darlene Slater (Donald Schlaechter), Patricia Aloisio (John Aloisio) and Lisa Downing; and his grandchildren, Dr. Gina Aloisio, John Franklin Aloisio III and Mary K. Downing Christopher (William). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
