He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bowers and Sylvia Bowers (McCorkle); his wife Margaret Martin; his siblings, Beulah Dittman, Robert Bowers (Evelyn) and Earl Bowers; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Casari and Paul Dittman.
He is survived by: his children, Mary L. Cooper (Daniel) and Douglas B. Bowers; his grandchildren, Brianne Bowers, Brent Bowers and Tara Byers (Cody); his great grandchildren, Brigitte Byers and Henry Malcolm Bowers; and his sisters, June Straub of Chillicothe, Joan Casari of Chillicothe and Rosemary Murphy (Jim).
