He was predeceased by: his parents, Erskin Ferris and Ella May Porter Ferris; his wife Lucille Ferris; and his son Robert L. Ferris. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Sowards of Chesapeake, Barbara Sue Fuller of Proctorville, Marlene Jenkins of Chesapeake, Delores Brumfield of Chesapeake, Ohio and Frank Ferris of Crown City, Ohio; and his siblings, Hubert Ferris of Chesapeake, Ohio, Shirley Murdock of Scottown and Freda Foster of Piketon, Ohio. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
