He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit G. Garrett and Freda Harvey Garrett; and his brother Gerald Trent Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Kermit, Matthew Scott (Tiffany), Thomas Trent, Rickey Lee Garrett, April, Tiffany (Randy), Connie and Shawnda Michelle Garrett (Andrew); and his brothers, Gary, Mannie, Rick (Shawnda) and Timmy Garrrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
