She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Columbus and Grace Henderson (Brumfield). She is survived by: her husband Jack Benny Lockhart; her sons, Dyke Lockhart (Bobbie) of Fulshear, TX and Dane Lockhart (Angela) of Fulshear, TX; and her grandchildren, Katie Lockhart of Katy, TX, Tyler Lockhart (Marie) of League City, TX, Bryce Lockhart of Fulshear, TX and Cade Lockhart of Fulshear, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Ruth's honor to the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV.
