He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Sug Sierer, Sr. and Helen Bridges Cowell; his stepfather Merlin Cowell; and his siblings, Tim Sierer, Steve Sierer, Terry Sierer, Philip Sierer and Linda Sierer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Matthew Sierer, Rick Sierer (Ramona) and Sue Sierer O'Bryan; and his sisters-in-law, Martha June Sierer and Genney Boley. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
